The Prickly Pair & The Polarts.
I recently stumbled upon with the work of two mexican designers, Valentina Gonzalez Wohlers and Aida Ochoa. Valentina Gonzalez based in London is the creator of The Prickly Pair Chairs. These cactus-inspired chairs are “the juxtapose Mexican and Europe values…” A brilliant design and would love to have them and The Polarts in my living room….
The Polarts, Aida Ochoa´s creation takes us back to Porfiriato, in which the french influence was all over Mexico City… and were included in Tim Burton´s latest movie “Alice in Wonderland.”
